Bio
I’m a Ph.D. candidate at the department of political science at The University of California, Davis where I research state responses to civil conflict including repression, restriction of emigration freedom, and martial law. I also study rebel behavior including terror tactics and the life cycles of rebel groups.
My dissertation is entitled: “Rule by Sword: Developing Definitions, Analyzing Institutional Roots, and Examining Consequences of Martial Law”
My dissertation committee is comprised of Juan Tellez (Chair), Brandon Kinne, and Lauren Young.
